Woodbridge, Maple, Thornhill and Kleinburg gave us more interlock square footage than anywhere else we work. Wide double and triple driveways, full front walkways, rear patios — often installed at the same time as the house and now ten or fifteen years into the freeze-thaw cycle.
Sealing is most of our summer here
Large driveways fail in a predictable order: joint sand washes out, weeds establish in the empty joints, pavers start to rock, and then edges drop. Catching it at the sand stage is inexpensive. Catching it after the edges have settled means lifting and relaying. We inspect joints as part of the spring visit and tell you which stage you are at, including when the honest answer is that it can wait another year.
Snow storage, not snow volume
Vaughan driveways are wide enough that clearing them is straightforward. The problem is where the snow goes by the third storm, when the banks at the edges are already high and pushing further starts damaging sod and irrigation heads. We map storage points before the season and, on properties with nowhere left to put it, quote removal as a separate line so it is not a surprise mid-winter.
