Why hosing it out yourself is the wrong answer
A garden hose does not reach the temperature that actually sanitises, and the run-off goes straight into the storm drain — which in Ontario does not lead to a treatment plant. Whatever comes out of that bin ends up in the nearest creek. Our unit captures every litre and removes it.
When we come
We service bins the day after your collection, when they are empty. Tell us your collection day and we will schedule around it, so you are never left with a full bin sitting out.
How often
Monthly through the warm months is what keeps a bin genuinely clean, and it uses less water per visit than letting a season build up. Quarterly is enough for most households. One-time cleans are fine if you have just moved in or something has gone badly wrong in there.
